Watch Jennie Kim's Campaign Film For The Chanel 22 Bag

South Korean girl group Blackpink member, Jennie, is bringing Chanel to Seoul in the French Fashion House's latest campaign film for the Chanel 22 bag. Directed by Inez & Vinoodh, the short flick draws inspiration from autobiographical fiction and features pop art graphics, fairy wings, horses, and a photo booth Kiosk to give the film a personal written diary or scrapbook feel. “It was Inez & Vinoodh’s first time in Korea and I hope they have only happy memories,” Jennie shared on her experience filming the Chanel campaign, according to Another Magazine

Alongside Jennie, Emmy-nominated actor Margaret Qualley, Gossip Girl star Whitney Peak, and French American actress-turned-model Lily-Rose Depp star in the Chanel 22 bag film. Jennie has worked with Chanel as a brand ambassador since 2017, first as a Chanel Korean beauty muse. Then she deepened her relationship with the luxury brand by becoming a Chanel House Ambassador in 2019. The Korean pop star also regularly sits front-row at Chanel fashion shows, attending the FW 23/24 and Spring 2023 Chanel shows.

The Chanel 22 bag is named after the year of its creation and comes in both quilted leather and tweeds & fabric. With a 15.2-inch height, 16.4-inch length, and 3.1-inch depth -- and 7.8 × 7.4 × 2.3 in for the mini--, the metal chain interlaced with leather shoulder bag has a drawstring closure and a “CHANEL Paris” openwork double C medallion.
