Alton Mason Attends the 2025 Met Gala in Custom BOSS
Model and actor Alton Mason made a striking appearance at the 2025 Met Gala, embracing this year’s theme—“Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”—in a custom BOSS ensemble by Marco Falcioni.
Mason paid homage to hip-hop legend Slick Rick the Ruler, wearing a silver eye-embellished patch and a classic black fedora. His look was anchored by a dramatic full-length black overcoat featuring bold shoulders and an elegant train. Beneath the coat, he wore a silver long-sleeved jacket with a sculpted waistcoat silhouette and a heart-shaped chest cut-out, accented with a flowing blue cape. The look was completed with matching metallic trousers and boots, blending high fashion with Afro-futuristic edge.
This isn’t Mason’s first time turning heads at the Met Gala. In previous years, he’s delivered standout moments on the red carpet, from his all-white caped look for “Camp: Notes on Fashion” in 2019 to a sculptural Balmain ensemble for “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.” Each appearance reflects his fearless approach to fashion and his commitment to celebrating culture, movement, and storytelling through style.
