5 Performances We Loved At Afro Punk Brooklyn

We're already anticipating 2023's Afropunk Brooklyn festival, so you know Commodore Barry Park was a vibe. After the Covid-19 sabbatical that put music festivals everywhere on pause for two years, Afropunk returned home to BK with an all-star line lip of talent to perform. With headliners, The Roots and Burna Boy closing out Saturday and Sunday, respectively, stylish festival-goers dressed in bamboo earring-adorned dresses and African-inspired prints partied all night long. You could feel the overflow of positive energy moving through the crowd as each act took the stage to perform for fans and supporters alike.

We've already rounded up our favorite street-style looks. Now check out our favorite acts to hit the stage!
