PFW: Kidill SS24 Collection

Kidill's designer Hiroaki Sueyasu attracted showgoers to a raw space under The Louvre for his Spring 2024 presentation. Bare concrete floors, drywall, graffitied columns, and moody red lighting set the tone for this season's lineup. Sueyasu, who debuted Kidill at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo in 2014, joined the Paris Fashion Week calendar in 2022 after the pandemic and has continued to make space for his youth culture-inspired clothes here in the City of Light.

Last season Hiroaki Sueyasu turned a raw space into a skate park, and models presented the Fall 2023 Kidill offering with a side of kicked flips and board slides. But for Spring 2024, the presentation was more intimate. While a live singer performed, masked models showcased distressed knitwear, mixed-media separates, and zipper-detailed tops and denim options. As Sueyasu approaches ten years with Kidill, the rebellion woven into his line is at an all-time high, but technical design lives within these anti-tailored, anti-classic garments. Standout pieces include spiderweb woven knit cardigans and an oversized trench coat in honey with plaid paneling. Check out the full collection below.
