PFW: Kidill x DC Shoes FW23 Collection

Skateboarding culture served as inspiration for Kidill's FW23 collection. Similar to the subculture, fashion also embodies creativity, freedom and risk-taking values. Hiroaki Sueyasu, Kidill's artistic director, sewed those values into the '90s "coming to age" collection when the skater aesthetic meets Parisian chic. From the silver hardware details, the usage of florals, plaid and polka-dot prints to skull details embroidered on denim jackets and woven onto oversized knits, Kidill's fall lineup felt authentic skater gear. And to drive the message home, Sueyasu collaborated with DC Shoes who provided the footwear, and the DC Skaters to serve as models for the collection's unveiling.
