Behold: Ferragamo Pre-Fall 2023 Campaign

Clean cuts and minimalist silhouettes with a Western American twist shine in the latest Ferragamo campaign featuring the brand's Pre-Fall 2023 collection.

“I want to explore what contemporary essentials are, from denim to eveningwear. To take classic pieces in the everyday wardrobe and twist or subvert them with textures and materials that make them feel more modern, more playful and more unexpected," Ferragamo's Creative Director Maximilian Davis explained on the campaign shot by photographer Tyler Mitchell. Drawing inspiration from the cowboy boots Salvatore Ferragamo created for the 1923 film The Covered Wagon, the subtle hints of Western influence, sleeveless plaid shirting, and head-to-toe denim compliment the minimalistic bustier dress rendered in gold foiled eelskin and the two-piece white top and skirt sets. On working with Tyler Mitchell, Davis shared, “Tyler is someone who I’ve grown up with; we’re part of the same community and we’ve always spoken about collaborating. “There’s a simplicity and elegance to his work and the way that he captures people; a laid-back clarity which is never forced.” This is Davis' first Pre-Fall collection for Ferragamo since his appointment at the helm of the brand back in March 2022.
