Luxury fashion loves a brand ambassador. These designers and their ateliers have always used muses, models, or the occasional celebrity, to convey brand messaging and awareness. But in 2025 most of the big brands are laying claim over top-tier talent to exclusively be the face of their brands on a global scale. While other brands have a long list of brand multiple names representing them, Dolce & Gabbana is currently banking on a less is more approach with one gentleman representing the Italian fashion house as a Global Ambassador, Doyoung.

Doyoung, a member of the K-pop group NCT, has established a significant partnership with the Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. In May 2023, he was appointed as the brand's ambassador for Korea and Japan, recognizing his influence as a global K-pop star and renowned musician. In the announcement on X, Doyoung shared, “I’m truly excited to become part of the great Dolce&Gabbana family. I feel a strong connection that can give birth to a powerful synergy between me and the brand."

In this role he was featured in the brand's Fall/Winter 2023 advertising campaign, showcasing key pieces from the collection. In October 2024, Doyoung, alongside Korean actress Mun KaYoung, starred in Dolce & Gabbana's Fall/Winter 2024-25 advertising campaign. The campaign, set against the backdrop of a modern metropolis, highlighted the brand's blend of classic tailoring and contemporary sophistication.
Other notable faces are friends of the house, including actor Colin Farrell and model Alton Mason, but Doyoung has played a pivotal role in representing and promoting Dolce & Gabbana's collections, embodying the brand's aesthetic and bridging the worlds of fashion and culture.
